Homeopathy - Doctor Qualification

It takes almost 10 years to become a qualified professional homeopath

A homeopath in India is not someone who has done a weekend or 'six-week' course in homeopathy.

We have one of the largest networks of homeopaths in the world with over 400 homeopathy experts working for us globally.

All our homeopaths are medically qualified and have completed 5 ½ years degree course in homeopathy that includes learning in subjects like medicine, surgery, gynaecology, anatomy, physiology, psychology and other topics similar to those in conventional medicine.

We also have over 65 specialists MDs [Medicine in Homeopathy [M.D.(Hom)]. To become MD, a homeopath needs to spend another 3 years in different specialties like psychiatry, pediatrics, and medicine.

We also have homeopaths who have completed a fellowship course of 1 year in dermatology, which can be done after 10 years of clinical homeopathic practice.

A homeopath is truly a multi-specialist

Homeopathic practice is never restricted to one type of illness or segment. For example, in allopathy, a dermatologist only treats skin ailments and a gastroenterologist only sees patients with problems in their digestive system. However, a homeopath is trained to treat a wide variety of illnesses, right from common problems like sinusitis and allergic coughs to more serious conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and even diseases like cancer. In the true sense, a homeopath is a multi-specialist.
