Mumbai, Oct 6 (PTI) Health and wellness major, Dr Batra's Group of Companies, plans to open over 35 clinics in various parts of the country and targets a revenue of Rs 100-crore for this fiscal, a top company official said today. The company, which has forayed into skin-care products, will soon introduce two new products - fairness cream and sun protection cream. "We want to penetrate more in areas where we already have our presence. We have planned to open nine clinics this month.In addition to this, we will be opening 30 more clinics across the country in this fiscal itself," the company's Chairman and Managing Director, Dr Mukesh Batra, told PTI here. The company has clocked a 100 per cent increase in its revenue in the last four-months as compared to the last year, he said. "We are constantly growing at the rate of 5-10 per cent every year. Since the homeopathy segment in the healthcare industry is growing at 20 per cent every year, we expect our revenues to jump to Rs 100-crore in 2010-11," Batra said. The company currently has three products in the Rs 7,000-crore hair-care segment dandruff shampoo, normal hair conditioner and hair oil, which is growing at the rate of 16 per cent and five products in the Rs 3,000-crore skin care segment hand wash, face wash, skin toner, skin moisturiser and skin cleansing milk. "There is a huge demand for skin-care products today. We have already introduced three products. We will be introducing two new products, a fairness cream and a sun protection cream in the coming months," he said. Dr Batra's also announced its Positive Health Awards 2010 for those who, through their positivity and strength, have fought and recovered from severe and debilitating diseases and disabilities. Also, doctors who have served the society will be felicitated, he said.
