Dr Batra's Positive Health Clinic Plans IPO In 2 Years

New Delhi, Oct 12 (Ticker News Service): Dr Batras's Positive Health Clinic Pvt Ltd plans to get listed on stock exchanges in about two years, Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Batra told TickerNews Service on Tuesday.

"We are not planning to list immediately, but we do plan to list our company in about two year's time," Batra said.

The treatment centre is in the midst of an expansion drive for its homeopathic clinics, he said. "At present, we have 59 homeopathic clinics across 22 cities in India and abroad. We seek to open 30 more stores by the end of this calendar year," Batra said.

Apart from India, Dr Batra's Clinics are also present in Dubai and London.

"About Rs 50 million is likely to be invested for opening 30 more stores by the end of this year," Batra said.

"At present, we are funding our business expansion projects from internal accruals," he said. The Mumbai-based company, which also has a portfolio of skin care and hair care products, plans to launch several new products including a fairness cream and a sun screen lotion, said Batra.

The market for homeopathic medicines is growing steadily with about 25% sales growth, he said. Homeopathy as a system of medicine is recognised by World Health Organisation, Batra said.
